What We Offer
Equal Opportunity Employer
At Félix, we are building the indispensable financial companion for Latinos in the US. We combine an AI-powered, conversational-first interface with real-time financial infrastructure to make cross-border money movement as easy as sending a text. Starting with fast, affordable remittances powered by AI and crypto rails, we are expanding into credit, savings, and wallet services to support the complete immigrant financial journey. Our ambition is to deliver a white-glove financial experience with the simplicity of a conversation to a community the traditional financial system has historically overlooked.
We are a hyper-growth Series C company, backed by over $300 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavor Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award.
Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long because we are obsessed with our customers. We get things done with urgency and focus, driven by extreme ownership over our impact. We collaborate without ego, fostering radical transparency and fierce loyalty so we can grow together. Because we aim for insanely great rather than just good enough, we stay insatiably curious—always experimenting, building the future today, and delivering a product that truly makes our users' lives better.
At Félix, we are building the future of finances for Latinos in the US. Our wallet is an account and debit card that live inside the WhatsApp experience millions of our users already trust, built on stablecoin infrastructure. The technology underneath is complex. Our job is to make it feel like magic, so that for the user it is simply their money, available the moment they need it.
As the Technical Product Manager for Wallet & Card, you own the technical heart of the wallet: the infrastructure the account runs on, the rails that move money in and out of it, and the debit card program on top of it. You decide how the wallet is built, which rails and partners we use, and how the card runs safely and reliably, from authorizations and tokenization to disputes. Your mandate is a wallet that is always correct and a card experience that is safe for our users, with acceptance as high as it can be, fraud under control, and everything feeling seamless inside the product.
You will lead a pod and work closely with leadership, engineers, the Wallet Experience and Rewards Product Managers, Fraud, Finance, and our infrastructure, issuing, and network partners. This is a hands-on role for a technical product manager with real payments experience who is a doer, not just a delegator.
- Own Wallet Infrastructure Decisions: Define, alongside engineering, how the wallet is built: custody and key management models, stablecoin and settlement chains, ledger integration, automated reconciliation design, and the partners behind each infrastructure layer.
- Manage Money-In & Money-Out Rails: Oversee the technical design, ongoing management, and maintenance of funding and withdrawal rails. Ensure integration health, high transaction success rates, optimal settlement timing, and robust automated reconciliation across all active partners.
- Own Card Program Technical Operations: Drive the health and evolution of a live debit card program: authorization flows, decline codes, tokenization/digital wallets (Apple/Google Pay), disputes, and network rules. Own acceptance rates and know the technical levers to move them.
- Fraud & Risk Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Fraud team on card and funding controls that protect users without declining legitimate transactions. Supply necessary data pipelines and balance loss ratios against false decline rates.
- Hands-on Technical Execution: Work directly with engineers on APIs, webhooks, on-chain flows, and real-time authorizations. Debug production issues alongside tech leads, read logs, and query SQL databases to identify technical improvements.
- Seamless Card Lifecycle in Product: Own card lifecycle flows—issuance, activation, provisioning, freezing, and replacement—partnering with the Wallet Experience team to present card and funding flows intuitively inside WhatsApp and the dashboard.
- Vendor Collaboration: Partner closely with infrastructure, banking, payment processor, card issuing, and card network vendors to co-create solutions, align on technical strategies, and drive operational success together.
- Lead Pod, Roadmap & Core Metrics: Establish the roadmap and priorities for your pod, owning the wallet infrastructure/rails roadmap and co-owning the card roadmap with other PMs. Communicate progress and impact to leadership while driving core performance metrics.
- Drive & Payments Experience: 5+ years of product management or adjacent experience with a heavy focus on payments infrastructure or card issuing, acting as a hands-on builder with extreme ownership in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Deep Payments Ecosystem Mastery: Expertise in funding/payout rails, processors, banking partners, settlement, automated reconciliation, and the underlying economics of each rail.
- Infrastructure & Build vs. Partner Judgment: Proven experience evaluating infrastructure options alongside engineering leadership, making build-versus-partner calls, and owning technical trade-offs.
- Payment Performance Metrics: Track record owning payment KPIs (authorization/acceptance rates, fraud loss ratios, funding success rates, unit cost) and leveraging data to drive system optimizations.
- Technical Fluency: Ability to read API documentation, inspect logs, run SQL queries independently, and design system resilience mechanisms (timeouts, retries, fallback routes).
- Partner Management: Direct experience managing day-to-day relationships with issuers, processors, card networks, sponsor banks, or web3/fiat infrastructure partners.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills to align engineering, fraud, finance, compliance, and executive leadership on complex technical roadmaps.
- Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- These are the applicable requirements, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
- Experience with stablecoin-funded card programs, or stablecoin on-ramps and off-ramps (e.g., Circle, Bridge, Zero Hash, MoonPay).
- Card Issuing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of card issuing lifecycle: authorization and settlement flows, decline analysis, tokenization, disputes/chargebacks, and card network rules (Visa/Mastercard).
- Hands-on exposure to digital wallets, blockchain protocols, smart contracts, or non-custodial wallet infrastructure.
- Direct experience managing a card network program or sponsor bank relationship.
- Spanish language fluency.
- Competitive salary
- Initial stock options grant
- Annual performance bonus
- Unlimited PTO
- Paid parental leave
- Hybrid work setup
- Health, dental, and vision plans
- 401(k) with employer matching, for US-based employees
- Continuous learning opportunities
- Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
