Seeking a seasoned Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of our Information Security and Developer Experience platforms. This role sits at the intersection of security, engineering, and developer productivity, driving initiatives that ensure our systems are secure by design while empowering developers with seamless, scalable tooling.
You will partner closely with engineering, security, compliance, and platform teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that balance risk mitigation with developer agility. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong product instincts and a passion for building secure, frictionless developer environments.
What You'll Bring:
8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical platforms or infrastructure
5+ years in roles involving security, developer tooling, or platform engineering
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Aha!
Deep understanding of application and infrastructure security principles, including zero trust architecture, threat modeling, and secure SDLC
Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), encryption standards, audit logging, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST)
Experience implementing developer experience platforms, including CI/CD pipelines, internal developer portals, and toolchain integrations
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integrating security into developer workflows
Understanding of API security, secrets management, and runtime protection
Familiarity with developer productivity metrics, feedback loops, and DX research methodologies
Experience working with cloud-native environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/GCP/Azure)
Ability to drive adoption of secure coding practices, code scanning tools, and vulnerability management
Technical Skills & Domain Expertise:
Deep understanding of application and infrastructure security principles, including zero trust architecture, threat modeling, and secure SDLC
Experience with identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), OAuth2/OIDC, and SAML
Knowledge of encryption standards (AES, RSA, TLS), key management systems (e.g., AWS KMS, HashiCorp Vault)
Familiarity with audit logging, SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, ELK), and security incident response workflows
Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR
Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, static/dynamic code analysis tools (e.g., Snyk, Veracode, SonarQube)
Understanding of container security (e.g., Aqua, Prisma Cloud), runtime protection, and network segmentation
Impact You'll Make:
Technical Product Management plays a critical role at TransUnion as the conduit between our Sales, Solutions, and Engineering organizations. Our Solutions team define the “what and why” requirements and the TPM role partners with Solutions and Engineering on defining and executing the “how” technical requirements.
Product/Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the vision and roadmap for product/platform capabilities (e.g., Credit, Marketing, Fraud / APIs, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, developer tools).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to understand needs and translate them into platform features.
Technical Requirements: Gather and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability needs.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of product/platform features - from ideation to launch

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Benefits:

Pay Scale Information :The U.S. base salary range for this position is $126,700.00 - $190,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
