This role is critical in enhancing the productivity, satisfaction, and effectiveness of our engineering teams by driving improvements across developer platforms, CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, observability, and automation.

You will act as the voice of the developer, ensuring that our internal systems, workflows, and tooling are intuitive, efficient, and scalable. Your success will directly impact engineering velocity and our ability to ship high-quality enterprise SaaS products to regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the roadmap for internal developer tooling, CI/CD infrastructure, test automation, and platform observability.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership, platform teams, DevOps, and security to identify friction points in the developer journey and prioritize solutions.
  • Lead product discovery, including interviews, data analysis, and experimentation, to understand and validate developer needs.
  • Deliver solutions that improve the speed, safety, and consistency of product development workflows across all engineering teams.
  • Develop product specifications, success metrics, and internal documentation to support cross-functional alignment and adoption.
  • Evangelize DevEx initiatives within the organization and champion a culture of developer empathy and continuous improvement.
  • Define KPIs to track developer productivity, tool adoption, and internal customer satisfaction; continuously iterate based on feedback and telemetry.
  • Work with compliance and security teams to ensure tooling aligns with the requirements of our highly regulated customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on developer platforms, internal tooling, or infrastructure in enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Deep understanding of software development workflows, CI/CD systems, and developer pain points in complex engineering organizations.
  • Proven track record of delivering technical products that serve internal engineering teams at scale.
  • Strong technical acumen; ability to engage in architectural discussions and understand tradeoffs in infrastructure and tooling design.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience defining and tracking KPIs for internal platforms and services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern DevOps stacks (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, ELK, etc.).
  • Familiarity with regulated software environments (e.g., FDA, ISO, GxP).
  • Experience building or scaling internal developer portals, developer documentation systems, or platform-as-a-product models.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Primarily sedentary work with frequent use of computer, keyboard, and mouse.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of computer equipment or other objects up to 25 pounds may be required.
  • Standard office environment with potential for remote work.
