Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Regional Manager – Remote Sensing & Mapping (RS&M) to lead the growth, innovation, and operational excellence of Fugro's geospatial and digital inspection services across Latin America.

In this strategic leadership role, you will act as the key link between regional operations and global technical leadership, driving the deployment of cutting-edge technologies while developing high-performing teams and delivering exceptional value to clients across utilities, transportation, government, engineering, and natural resources sectors.

What You'll DoLead Regional Strategy & Technology Deployment

As the principal LATAM counterpart to the Americas IML leadership team, you will:

  • Drive alignment between global technology strategies and regional business priorities.
  • Lead the deployment of advanced Remote Sensing & Mapping capabilities throughout Latin America.
  • Support investment planning, technology adoption, operational standards, and digital workflows.
  • Translate global innovations into practical solutions that address local market needs.
  • Champion the introduction of emerging technologies and innovative service offerings across the region.
Provide Technical Leadership Across Advanced Geospatial Solutions

Serve as the regional technical authority for a diverse portfolio of solutions, including:

Airborne Mapping Solutions

  • Airborne LiDAR
  • Digital photogrammetry
  • Oblique imagery
  • Corridor mapping
  • UAV-based surveying
  • Topographic mapping
  • Asset inspection solutions

Mobile & Terrestrial Mapping Solutions

  • Mobile mapping systems
  • Mobile LiDAR
  • 360° imagery
  • Street-level digital capture
  • Terrestrial laser scanning
  • Reality capture technologies

Monitoring & Inspection Solutions

  • Structural and infrastructure monitoring
  • Deformation analysis
  • Asset condition assessments
  • Change detection programs
  • Monitoring of power transmission networks, transportation corridors, and critical infrastructure assets

Digital Asset Solutions

  • Digital twins
  • GIS integration
  • Asset intelligence platforms
  • Data analytics and visualization

You will play a critical role in opportunity development, solution design, proposal reviews, major project delivery, and customer-facing technical workshops.

Drive Operational Excellence Across Latin America

Own the successful execution and operational readiness of RS&M projects across the region by:

  • Leading resource planning and equipment allocation.
  • Managing subcontractor partnerships and technology deployment.
  • Developing mobilization, permitting, and data acquisition strategies.
  • Ensuring consistent project execution methodologies and quality standards.
  • Driving productivity improvements, risk mitigation, and schedule performance.
  • Maintaining alignment between proposed solutions and delivered outcomes.

As regional authority, you will establish and uphold best practices that enable safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Accelerate Market Growth & Commercial Success

Partner closely with commercial teams to identify opportunities, create differentiated solutions, and win strategic projects.

You will support:
