Job summary
As a Technical Implementation Manager in the Commerce Platform Integrations team, you guide clients through complex technical integrations and ensure their success with our proprietary platform. Job responsibilities
- Lead integration testing by collaborating with clients to define scope, implement test plans, and execute transitions to production
- Manage incoming demand efficiently through effective queue management and time management
- Collaborate with Business Development, Product Solution Specialists, and Relationship Management to deliver innovative client solutions
- Lead recurring team meetings and training sessions to keep the team ahead of industry trends and best practices
- Identify and address service gaps to improve the testing experience and exceed team deliverables
- Oversee department procedures and processes, reporting and addressing gaps to enhance efficiency
- Provide clear updates and technical guidance to mid and senior management
- Foster a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion within the team
- Promote change by driving improvements in service and process
- Take ownership of project outcomes and proactively manage escalations
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal partners to support seamless integrations
- Minimum 5 years of work experience, including 3 years in Operations or Technology within the credit card processing industry
- Expertise in modern authentication protocols, including OAuth2.0 and mTLS
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and APIs for proprietary platforms
- Experience with REST-based APIs and Open API Specifications
- Familiarity with AI/LLM and data tools such as Tableau, Splunk, Datadog, and AWS
- Detail-oriented problem solver with strong de-escalation skills
- Confident communicator able to provide clear updates to mid and senior management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; robust work experience considered
- Experience diagnosing complex application, data, and network issues
- Experience in card services and ecommerce industry; knowledge of proprietary Commerce Platform a plus
- Familiarity with asynchronous responses, webhooks, Swagger, YAML, JSON, Markdown, and GitHub
- Proven knowledge of merchant services, including PCI, operational controls, and risk mitigation
- Formal project management skills or exposure to project management concepts (e.g., Project Management 101)
