Our mission is to simplify the work of IT teams and enable them to create highly secure and compliant environments. Our software does this by seamlessly integrating with existing IT infrastructure to quickly remediate issues, ensure compliance, enhance security, and maintain clear visibility across all devices. Recast is a rapidly growing software company with its solution being used by thousands of enterprise organizations in more than 125 countries, impacting millions of devices and (more importantly) the people who use them.
About the Role:
Do you have expertise in the end user computing landscape and the modern workspace? And are you looking to leverage your engineering knowledge, including endpoint and application management, into an impactful role helping organizations understand the value of modernizing their application delivery and users' digital experience? Recast Software is looking for a modern workspace subject matter expert to join our marketing team as a Technical Marketing Manager to create and deliver content supporting go-to-market efforts for our Application Workspace product line.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role sits at the center of product, marketing, and sales—turning technical product expertise into compelling messaging, positioning, sales enablement, and technical content that drives demand, adoption, and revenue.
You’ll partner closely with Product, Sales, Growth Marketing, and Web & Brand teams to define the product’s market fit, craft the story, and ensure we communicate its value clearly to our core IT audience and our global partners. This is a hands-on and strategic role ideal for someone who thrives on turning technical capabilities into market-winning narratives.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in end user computing and application deployment within marketing, building our technical content strategy and creating marketing assets.
- Create high-impact technical content: how-to videos, product demo recordings, blog posts, tutorials, solution briefs, customer case studies, webinars, and more.
- Create real world scenarios in Application Workspace to showcase state of the art technologies, like MSIx deployments, MSIx AppAttach, Azure virtual desktop environments, Citrix migration scenarios, applications management (patching and delivery), and best practices for application configuration.
- Deliver content that compares and contrasts Application Workspace features with traditional application management and patching, such as workspace management solutions like Ivanti and SCCM.
- Translate technical product capabilities into clear, engaging narratives for IT professionals.
- Collaborate with Product, Growth Marketing and Sales to support product launches, campaigns, and enablement assets for end users and global partners.
- Collaborate with Product to deeply understand product capabilities, use cases, and the competitive landscape, while partnering on launches, competitive teardowns, and scenario guides (integrating with VDI, automated deployment, etc.)
- Own the end-to-end content production process—from scripting and recording to editing, publishing, measuring effectiveness, and iterating.
- Leverage expertise to share market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform product positioning and strategy.
- Monitor content performance and adjust strategy based on engagement and feedback, as well as review content for technical accuracy.
What You've Done:
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role with End User Computing (EUC), modern workspace technology, or application deployment (e.g. VMware, Citrix).
- 3+ years experience with application delivery.
- Experience creating technical content, at least internal documentation.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally internally as well as with strategic partners.
What Stands Out:
- Experience supporting product launches, sales enablement, and demand generation.
- Experience with product marketing and sales enablement.
- Blog and/ or video content experience.
- Experience with application packaging and deployment at scale, e.g. MSI, MSIX, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop etc.
- VDI expertise: Citrix CVAD/DaaS or VMware Horizon/ Omnissa, including FSLogix, App Layering/App Volumes, and image management (MCS/PVS or equivalent).
- Hands on experience with Microsoft modern workspace technology like Intune and MECM.
- Experience with MacOS management.
