OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Technical Artist to bridge the gap between Art and Engineering, bringing our in-game events and features to life with Spine animations and VFX.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Live Operations and Features teams to ensure animations, effects, and interactive elements feel polished, engaging, and optimized for mobile performance. You will also collaborate with UI Graphic Designers, taking their completed PSD files, breaking them down into layers, and enhancing them with animation and VFX. Your expertise in exporting, optimizing, and preparing assets will ensure seamless integration for operators, maintaining high visual quality while keeping performance in check.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of art, animation, and technical execution, bringing static assets to life and elevating the player experience through motion and effects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create high-quality Spine animations for characters, UI elements, and in-game events.
• Develop and implement VFX to enhance game features, dialogs, and Live Ops content.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to integrate animations and effects seamlessly into the game.
• Optimize assets for mobile performance while maintaining visual quality.
• Troubleshoot animation and VFX-related issues, ensuring smooth implementation.
• Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist.
• Be able to use English, both written and spoken, to work with a variety of internal stakeholders
• Proficiency in Spine 2D animation for mobile games
• Strong understanding of Unity VFX and animation pipelines.
• Experience working with Unity or similar game engines.
• Bonus: Familiarity with shader creation, scripting, or procedural animation tools.

• You may be expected to complete a test as a part of the interviewing procedure.
