The Technical Architect is responsible for the technical configurations and delivery of Fairmarkit solutions for our customers. As a member of the Professional Services team, the Technical Architect works alongside Engagement Managers to onboard new customers and implement new solutions for existing customers. The Technical Architect is responsible for the successful delivery of the technical requirements outlined in the statement of work for each customer. The primary focus of this job is in designing system integrations between Fairmarkit and client ERP and P2P systems. Fairmarkit Technical Architects provide continuity and expertise throughout the implementation life-cycle to ensure client success.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of a client implementation from initial internal sales hand-off to system configuration, training and testing.
  • Facilitate discovery and requirements analysis sessions with customers
  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the Fairmarkit platform, including the core platform, integration engine, and machine learning algorithm.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with customers to review customer onboarding data sets and to explore current business processes surrounding the client’s P2P and ERP systems.
  • Gather requirements and refine designs for integrating Fairmarkit into customer procurement software landscapes
  • Analyze and evaluate customer data using various tools and techniques
  • Partner with product, engineering, and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that occur during the implementation.
  • Set, manage and meet mutual expectations with the customer to ensure satisfactory completion of implementation projects
  • Accurately record implementation project progress including technical flow diagrams and time reporting 
  • Track and report project metrics to ensure project success and mitigate risk
  • Complete an effective hand-off from implementation to Customer Success Manager and to other internal groups at the end of the customer implementation.

Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of SaaS implementation experience with procurement software.
  • Expertise in integrating SAP ECC (MM), SAP S/4Hana (MM), SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, or SAP Ariba Guided Buying with third-party client applications
  • Adept familiarity with extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes
  • Competency with analyzing disparate system data models and extracting and transforming source system data to abide by the secondary system schema.
  • Experience with relational databases and business intelligence tools. Experience with Looker strongly preferred.
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with procurement systems and processes is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills required, experience with Jira is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree; in computer science or other related field

For this role we are looking for a candidate based in the East Coast in the US. You must reside in one of the following states: GA, MD, IN, MA, NH, NJ, NY,  NC, OH, RI, or PA. The annual compensation (including bonus) is $91,122 - $115,382 + equity and benefits. This range is provided in accordance with applicable U.S. pay transparency laws. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and location.
