You will:
Tax Compliance & Strategy- Lead U.S. and international tax compliance for income tax, sales/use tax, and indirect tax filings.
- Manage quarterly and annual tax provision (ASC 740), including deferred tax accounting and footnote disclosures.
- Coordinate the preparation and review of corporate tax returns across global jurisdictions.
- Monitor tax law changes and proactively assess business impact, ensuring strategic alignment.
- Advise on tax planning opportunities, risk mitigation, and business expansion efforts.
- Support M&A activities and new market entry from a tax compliance and structuring standpoint.
- Manage tax audits, ensuring timely responses and documentation.
- Oversee global cash flow forecasting, intercompany funding, and working capital optimization.
- Manage banking relationships and liquidity structures across currencies and entities.
- Ensure efficient and compliant treasury operations, including capital deployment and FX risk mitigation.
- Partner with FP&A and Accounting to align cash planning with corporate strategy.
- Lead global statutory reporting processes, coordinating with local advisors and auditors to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Ensure statutory accounts align with the U.S. GAAP and local GAAP requirements.
- Own the end-to-end preparation and review of statutory financial statements for foreign subsidiaries.
- Support local compliance (e.g., VAT/GST returns, regulatory filings) in coordination with external providers.
- Strengthen internal controls and documentation for statutory audits and regulatory reviews.
- Lead and mentor team members across tax, treasury, and statutory functions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Legal, FP&A, Accounting) and external advisors.
- Communicate financial implications of complex issues to leadership in a clear, actionable way.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred.
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in tax and treasury roles, preferably in a public company or high-growth SaaS environment or Tech companies.
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, and international tax rules; familiarity with indirect and transfer taxes.
- Experience with ASC 740 and global statutory reporting.
- A strong track record of working capital optimization, including strategic oversight of AR, AP, and cash planning.
- Proven experience building and managing global teams.
- Proven ability to lead treasury and cash operations in a multi-entity, multi-currency structure.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and tax software (e.g., OneSource, Avalara, CCH).
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- CPA license or Master’s in Taxation.
- Experience managing global tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Working knowledge of international tax, transfer pricing, or indirect tax planning
Benefits:
The base salary range for this role will be between $130,000 to $160,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications.
