We are working on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office (Natick, MA HQ).

Role Overview:
As a Tax Manager, you will be a key member of the finance team, partnering closely with the business on a wide range of tax matters. Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, Domestic Tax and Global Transfer Pricing, you will be responsible for corporate income and indirect tax compliance, accurate quarterly reporting, transfer pricing analysis, special projects, and tax technology innovations. Your expertise will provide insightful and practical advice to help the business and senior management make strategic and tactical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all US federal and state tax compliance, as well as ex-US Americas tax compliance (30% of time)

  • Lead sales and use tax compliance and controversy (15% of time)

  • Assist with performing quarterly forecast and year-end tax accounting computations, including analysis of key international tax aspects such as GILTI (20% of time)

  • Manage special projects, including tax planning, M&A, and corporate initiatives (20% of time)

  • Manage and support Federal and State tax audits (15% of time)

  • Monitor tax legislation and assess its impact on the company, providing regular updates and reports to senior management

  • Promote new ideas and innovative planning opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred

  • Proven experience with US GAAP ASC 740 and tax compliance, ideally with exposure to international tax issues such as GILTI and FDII computations

  • Experience creating multi-year tax models is a plus

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a combination of global publicly traded companies and Big Four accounting firms

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely

  • Superior attention to detail and ability to highlight unexpected results

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities within deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Provision software is advantageous

  • Outstanding analytical skills, including the ability to understand and evaluate complex tax principles

  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
