Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of the Tax Department, with a primary focus on supporting firm partners and employees residing and/or working outside of the United States.
Assist with global tax planning and compliance efforts related to both employer and employee tax strategies:
Manage external advisors to interpret and integrate international tax guidance.
Facilitate seamless implementation of planning strategies across jurisdictions.
Develop working knowledge of international and cross-border tax principles.
Ensure that all planning aligns with the firm’s Global Tax Framework and strategic goals.
Collaborate with internal Human Resources, Finance, and Legal teams to assess and quantify the tax implications of international and cross-border assignments
Design, document, and maintain effective planning strategies and tax solutions in line with best practices and the operating model of the Partner Tax Services team.
Qualifications
Prior experience in Cross-Border Taxation or Global Mobility Services is required.
Demonstrated passion for learning and mastering complex international tax topics.
Deep commitment to delivering consistent value and excellence in a professional services environment.
Flexibility and willingness to accommodate work across multiple time zones, including outside standard business hours as needed.
Proficiency with tax research platforms and tools such as Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, treatises, and other digital research engines.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently and effectively.
Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
Highly self-motivated with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to responsibilities.
Strong analytical ability to apply tax knowledge to new and evolving scenarios, delivering innovative and practical solutions.
Team-oriented, respectful, and enthusiastic collaborator.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Consistent record of strong professional and academic performance.
Experience working with High-Net-Worth Individuals is preferred.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
6-10 years of relevant individual international tax experience
