Summary of Role: The Tax Manager of Indirect Tax will oversee the indirect tax aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with relevant tax legislation and optimizing tax processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns, including sales and use tax, business personal property tax returns, etc.
- Provide indirect tax planning and advisory services to support business operations.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with new regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize tax processes and improve efficiency.
- Lead special projects related to indirect tax, such as system implementations and process improvements of Vertex O-Series with SAP S/4 HANA.
- Utilize technology like Alteryx and Power BI for data analysis and presentation.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in indirect tax or accounting.
- Skills: Expertise in tax software and tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skills: Project management skills, strong communication and organizational skills.
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning & organizational skills.
- Travel: Up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- Experience: Experience with indirect tax in a multinational corporation.

Expected Salary Range
$96,900.00 - $184,200.00
