Job Description: As Pathstone continues to grow, our People Office is evolving to deliver a distinctive experience for every team member. The Talent Strategy Associate will support the execution of firm-wide talent initiatives that strengthen performance, career development, and organizational alignment. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience in HR, talent operations, or organizational development who is ready to contribute to strategic programs while continuing to build expertise.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Talent and cross-functional partners to help operationalize our performance management process, career pathing frameworks, and talent assessment tools, ensuring our people strategy scales with clarity, consistency, and impact.


Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management & Talent Operations

  • Support the execution of the firm-wide performance management process, including communications, tracking, and reporting.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of career pathing frameworks and competency models.
  • Help coordinate talent assessments and succession planning processes.
  • Maintain documentation and timelines for talent-related programs and cycles.
  • Partner with People Operations and Compensation to ensure alignment across talent processes.

Data & Insights

  • Collect and analyze talent data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making and leadership visibility.
  • Support the integration of talent data into HRIS and other platforms.

Project & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Contribute to cross-functional People Office initiatives and communications.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and People Office colleagues to ensure talent programs meet evolving needs.
  • Help manage timelines, deliverables, and documentation for strategic talent projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, talent management, or organizational development.
  • Familiarity with performance management, career development, or talent assessment processes.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Comfort with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS platforms).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Exposure to financial services or professional services environments a plus.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset.

Pay Transparency: Pathstone’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $75,000 - $85,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
