About the Role: As a People & Talent Intern at Abacus Insights, you will support key initiatives that shape our employee experience and recruitment efforts. You will gain exposure to a fast growing health tech start up and an inside look at how people operations fuels company growth. This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience in the full scope of People Operations, from sourcing, hiring, onboarding and employee engagement experience.
You Will:
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting activities: sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring managers.
- Support People Ops in maintaining employee records and ensuring data integrity in our HR systems (ADP).
- Collaborate on engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, team-building activities, and learning programs.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to support talent strategy.
- Contribute to documentation and process improvement efforts related to HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with employer branding projects, including social media content and recruitment campaigns.
- Participate in team meetings, company all-hands, and cross-functional projects as a valued member of the People Team.
What We're Looking For:
- Current student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous HR internship experience preferred but not required
- Passion for people, culture, and making workplaces more inclusive and engaging.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to multiple shifting priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with integrity.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Apps
