Position Summary

Virtuous is looking for a Talent Partner (Sourcing & Growth) to help us build a world-class, mission-driven team as we scale.

This is a hands-on role focused on owning and improving the top-of-funnel—from proactive sourcing to candidate engagement—while helping us build a modern, efficient, and increasingly AI-powered recruiting function.

You’ll partner closely with our Talent Acquisition leader to execute hiring priorities while also identifying ways to improve how we work. This role is ideal for someone who can deliver consistently today and is excited to build better systems over time.

Responsibilities
Own Sourcing & Pipeline Generation
  • Proactively source and engage candidates across key functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, G&A)

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines for current and future roles

  • Use thoughtful, personalized outreach to engage high-quality, passive candidates

  • Develop structured sourcing approaches while testing new and creative strategies

Leverage AI & Improve How We Work
  • Use AI tools, automation, and recruiting systems (Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter) to scale and improve your work

  • Build and refine simple workflows (e.g., outreach sequences, follow-ups, tagging, tracking)

  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve efficiency

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition leader and hiring managers to align on role needs and candidate profiles

  • Contribute insights and experiments to improve sourcing strategies, tools, and workflows

Drive Execution, Pipeline Health & Candidate Experience
  • Move candidates efficiently through early stages of the process while maintaining a high-quality experience

  • Communicate clearly, quickly, and professionally with candidates from first touch onward

  • Stay organized across multiple roles and pipelines, ensuring strong follow-through

  • Own key top-of-funnel metrics (response rates, time-to-first-touch, pipeline health)

  • Ensure a responsive, well-coordinated, and thoughtful candidate experience

You Must Have
  • 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, or a related talent role

  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates via LinkedIn and other platforms; comfortable working in a high‑outreach environment

  • Comfortable working in an ATS and recruiting tools (Ashby or similar ATS; LinkedIn Recruiter strongly preferred)

AI- and automation-forward mindset:
  • You’re excited to experiment with AI, sequences, templates, and workflows

  • You look for ways to remove manual work and make processes smoother for candidates and hiring teams

Highly driven and self-motivated:
  • You set goals for yourself and track your own progress

  • You’re proactive about following up, keeping things moving, and asking for help when needed

  • Strong organization and time management skills; able to juggle multiple roles, pipelines, and stakeholders without dropping the ball

What We Offer

  • Market competitive pay leveraging Carta data

  • Employee recognition through Bonusly (birthdays, anniversaries, achievements, etc.)

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching- 50% match up to 6% of compensation after 90 days

  • We value our employee’s work-life balance and encourage taking advantage of Unlimited PTO

  • Supportive time off including paid volunteer days and company holidays

  • Employer-contributed healthcare benefits, encompassing medical, dental, and vision coverage, with plans available for dependents and choices for Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).

  • 12 weeks primary parent leave, 4 weeks secondary parent leave - full pay (adoption as well)

  • We pride ourselves on Community and host exciting company outings and events.

We’ve recently noticed an increase in recruitment scams where individuals are impersonating recruiters to obtain personal or financial information through fraudulent interviews and job offers.
