Responsibilities
- Lead complex Talent Intelligence projects and provide ongoing consulting support to stakeholder groups (Talent Acquisition, Strategic Sourcing, Workforce Planning, Recruitment Marketing, etc.) on data-driven insights, project ROI and recommendations. Identify and provide key insights and recommendations around recruitment effectiveness and efficiency, internal and external labor markets, workforce and talent planning, talent pipelines, competitive insights, etc.
- Deliver actionable talent intelligence for GM's highest-priority skill areas, including emerging industries, adjacent markets, and transferrable skills to expand GM's reach for top talent
- Serve as the strategic link between Talent Acquisition and Business Leaders, translating long-term business priorities into actionable talent strategies and identifying future skill gaps and opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally with Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Corporate Development, and Compensation to deliver integrated talent landscape assessments that inform site strategy, M&A, and talent growth opportunities
- Serve as GM's authority on external talent market data, including skills availability, academic pipelines, and competitor footprints while collaborating with partners who own related data
- Develop frameworks to evaluate future site health, including talent availability, attainment rates, and success outcomes
- Develop relationships within your stakeholder groups to understand their business challenges and respond through various analytics products (e.g., data storytelling briefings, executive presentations, recommendations, reports, and dashboards)
- Leverage existing data and analytics tools (Workday, PowerBI, TA tools etc.) and external research & benchmarking to answer Talent Intelligence related questions
- Develop actionable recommendations and support your stakeholders through implementation of these recommendations
- Lead cross-functional projects as needed Drive adoption and usage of People Analytics solutions. Help gather requirements for analytics solutions roadmap and future enhancements
- Question assumptions on current operations and make improvement recommendations
