Jersey College is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist our campus in recruiting faculty and staff to serve our students and stakeholders.  This is a remote position.

Position Statement
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the implementation of sourcing strategies to identify appropriate candidates for the various positions required at the institutional and campus level. Utilizing these strategies, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will build a talent network to enable the identification and engagement of management, faculty and administrative staff. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Manager will provide full life-cycle recruiting services including but not limited to: sourcing for existing and expansion campuses; requisitions creation and candidate management/documentation within an application tracking system and contact management system; candidate screening/interview services and guidance on interviewing best practices; and negotiating directly with candidates.

Job Responsibilities

  • Development of Hiring Network
    • Develop and execute a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a pool of qualified applicants for vacancies and expansion
    • Use various Social Media platforms as an employee sourcing and employer branding tool
    • Develop network of referral sources for current and future positions to decrease reliance on job posting platforms
    • Develop and maintain a network and database of potential candidates for future needs, including a pipeline of passive candidates
    • Support hiring process of institution
  • Coordination of Interviewing and Hiring Process
    • Develop and implement a structured process for identifying and tracking candidates to improve time-to-hire
    • Contact potential candidates, develop and document profiles and maintain contact notes within ATS systems
    • to ensure a high touch candidate experience and ensure Jersey College as an employer of choice
    • Leverage technology for excellent candidate relationship management to discover and sustain cold/warm
    • leads, hot leads, referrals, and other potential prospects
    • Utilize existing job descriptions, initiate internal and external job postings, and develop creative recruitment
    • programs and marketing materials
    • Increase the number of qualified applicants for existing and expansion campuses
    • Prioritize recruiting, screening, interviewing and onboarding of applicants for positions in the organization
    • Establish a rapport with hiring Managers allowing for an efficient process to identify and hire required talent
    • Work closely with hiring Managers and educational leadership to understand staffing needs and
    • develop proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
    • Enter and maintain current, accurate, and consistent information in the applicant tracking system, including
    • but not limited to job posting content, applicant tracking and response, anecdotal information, and other
    • required data
    • Perform reference and background checks, verification of licensure, and/or certification per Jersey College
    • position requirements
    • Conduct exit interviews, track quantitative and qualitative data and report to hiring Managers
       
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

  • 3 years of talent acquisition level experience conducting effective sourcing / full-cycle recruiting for a variety of
  • leadership, management, clinical, professional, technical, and support positions
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • An outgoing, approachable style and a passion for helping others succeed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Healthcare industry or related field preferred
