Alex and Ani is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to help us attract and hire exceptional talent across both corporate functions and revenue-driving commercial teams. This role requires strong strategic judgment and stakeholder partnership, with success driven by market awareness and the ability to operate as a trusted thought partner to the business.
Alex and Ani is a well-known jewelry brand operating with the speed, agility, and entrepreneurial mindset of a startup. This is the first dedicated in-house recruiter role, designed to scale recruiting capacity in partnership with the Head of People.
What You'll Do:
- Own full-cycle recruiting across a variety of functions, from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding
- Recruit across both corporate functions and revenue-driving commercial teams (including People, Finance, Operations, Strategy, Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Ecommerce, Partnerships and Wholesale)
- Partner closely with hiring managers as a trusted advisor on talent decisions, market dynamics, and candidate fit
- Maintain a balanced mix of inbound pipeline management and proactive outbound sourcing, focused on building intentional, high-quality talent pipelines
- Conduct candidate screens and manage candidates through a structured, high-touch interview process
- Ensure strong ATS discipline, data integrity, and recruiting metric visibility to improve decision-making
- Support employer branding and recruiting initiatives, including process improvements, career branding, and talent marketing
- Evaluate and experiment with AI-enabled recruiting tools, sourcing platforms, and modern talent acquisition technologies to improve efficiency and candidate discovery
- Partner closely with the Head of People and hiring managers to ensure strong alignment from candidate attraction through onboarding
What We're Looking For:
- 2–4+ years of recruiting experience, including 1–2+ years in-house in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage both inbound volume and proactive sourcing with strong prioritization and judgment
- Proven success in sourcing passive candidates and building pipelines across multiple functions
- Experience acting as a thought partner to hiring managers and influencing hiring decisions with data and market insight
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and process discipline, including ATS data integrity habits
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to flex across a variety of personalities and leadership styles
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Curiosity and hands-on experience with modern sourcing tools and AI recruiting platforms
Nice to Have:
- Interest in gaining exposure to HR, People Operations, or employee experience
- Experience in retail, DTC, or e-commerce environments
