Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.

Position

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner who will play a key role in attracting and hiring top talent across the organization. This role will support recruitment across multiple functions - Research, Engineering, G&A, and Clinical - and requires someone who can balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

About You

You are an adaptable, proactive recruiter who thrives in a dynamic startup environment. You build strong relationships with hiring managers and can effectively advise, coach, and influence throughout the hiring process. You take pride in sourcing and engaging top talent, delivering an exceptional candidate experience, and closing candidates in competitive markets. You communicate clearly and confidently, tailoring your approach depending on the audience and technical depth required. You enjoy working across a variety of functions and solving recruiting challenges with creativity and ownership.

What You Will Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for roles across Research, Engineering, G&A, and Clinical.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, plan interview processes, and craft effective sourcing strategies.
  • Proactively source and engage candidates through multiple channels to build strong, diverse pipelines.
  • Guide candidates through the process while ensuring a positive, transparent, and timely experience.
  • Advise hiring teams on market insights, compensation expectations, interview best practices, and selection decisions.
  • Influence stakeholders to drive alignment and timely decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR partners (HRBPs, Total Rewards, HR Operations) to ensure process consistency, compliance, and smooth onboarding.
  • Track recruiting activity and metrics; support continuous improvement of TA processes and tools.
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition projects supporting scalability, efficiency, and employer brand efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, or Master’s degree with 3+ years, of full-cycle recruiting experience in life sciences, biotech, or biopharma.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions; prior biotech/biopharma experience preferred but not required.
  • Proven success in sourcing, assessing, and closing candidates in competitive talent markets.
  • Strong stakeholder partnership skills; ability to coach, influence, and advise hiring managers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and levels of technical expertise.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup with evolving priorities.
  • Experience with ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred) and various sourcing and engagement tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GEM, SeekOut, etc).

The expected hourly range for this role is $56/hour to $62/hour depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise. This is a contract role, expected to last approximately 12 months, with an anticipated workload of 40 hours per week.

Eikon is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment.

We are currently not accepting any new third-party agencies or firms at this time. Please do not forward unsolicited agency resumes to our website, employees or Human Resources. Eikon Therapeutics will not pay fees to any third-party agency or firm associated with unsolicited resumes.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
