It’s an exciting time to join Calix and we’re looking for a Recruiter with experience working in a high volume recruitment environment to join our team for 3 months. If you take pride in partnering with Hiring Leaders to find talent, excel at engaging talent, and enjoy collaborating with others, this is the right role for you. We’re looking for someone who is organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is a strong communicator.
As part of our Talent Acquisition team, you will primarily be responsible for the full recruitment cycle for our 2026 North America Summer Internship Program – partnering with hiring leaders, qualifying candidates, guiding candidates through our recruiting process, and becoming an expert on our employer value proposition to close positions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Partner with Hiring Leaders across all functions to understand their internship requirements, screen resumes and share the most qualified talent, support the interview process, and craft and deliver a compelling offer.
  • Become an expert on our employer value proposition and internship program to drive some of the most promising talent into Calix.
  • Qualify and engage candidates through the full recruitment cycle while acting as a partner to hiring leaders and supporting their hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners to source and/or qualify candidates for full-time positions.
  • Support other recruitment initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Prior experience working in a high-volume recruitment environment is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience recruiting in a rapid growth high-tech environment preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to build new relationships quickly
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated, with a true sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Previous experience with Workday’s ATS is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively in a remote environment
