We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer. to join our dynamic team and support 
thermal solutions at partner OxM’s, Reporting directly to the CTO. The Field Application 
Engineer will collaborate closely with our prospects, customers and partners to successfully
design and integrate ZutaCore solutions into standard next-generation server SKUs. In this role,
you will design and implement liquid cooling solutions, support the technical closure of deals, 
and provide a comprehensive perspective on the impact of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the ZutaCore technical solutions expert and own all technical processes throughout the engagement life cycle with customers:
    • Assist in pre-sales activities by presenting technical solutions and addressing customer concerns.
    • Understand the competitive landscape, including the strengths and weaknesses of competing products.
    • Manage technical support for PoCs (Proof of Concept) and production implementation of ZutaCore’s solution at server vendors and local data centers.
  • Collaborate effectively with prospects, customers, and project stakeholders (e.g., server OxMs, distributors, system integrators, and data center infrastructure providers) to define ZutaCore solution integration requirements.
  • Act as a technical liaison with ZutaCore’s engineering teams for customer-specific solutions, providing support and guidance to ensure clear communication and eliminate knowledge gaps.
  • Communicate technical solution requirements accurately to ZutaCore’s operations and engineering teams.
  • Oversee and ensure timely product delivery to customers.
  • Ensure successful solution implementation and installation by providing technical expertise during coordination and installation phases.
  • Support customer success by providing post-deployment technical assistance as needed.


Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with server manufacturers (ODM and/or OEM), including familiarity with CPU/GPU hardware components and operations.
  • Understanding of data center physical infrastructure and engineering, including mechanical, electrical, and IT systems (e.g., power distribution, precision cooling, rack layouts, and management software).
  • Knowledge of data center cooling systems and their impact on thermal management and energy efficiency.
  • Awareness of the competitive landscape and the ability to develop effective positioning strategies against competitors.
  • Strong analytical skills — ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; capable of interpreting complex technical specifications and translating them into detailed engineering requirements.
  • Excellent technical sales, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to customers clearly.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with partners to deploy solutions in customer environments.
  • Innovative, problem-solving, and hands-on attitude, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Detail-oriented and organized approach to technical and operational tasks.
  • Familiarity with ProE, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp and Visio is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and a strong team player.
  • Strong customer success focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Language requirements: Native Chinese; effective verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in Taiwanese is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the technical aspects of data center or server manufacturer design and engineering.
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or an equivalent field.
