We are seeking a skilled Tactile Sensing & Dexterous Manipulation Engineer (Robotics) to advance the capabilities of high-resolution tactile sensors and dexterous robotic systems. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge projects to enhance robotic perception and manipulation, contributing to innovative solutions in the field of robotics.
Responsibilities:
- Process data from high-resolution tactile sensors and force-torque arrays.
- Implement slip-detection and compliant control algorithms.
- Train multi-fingered grasping policies for unknown objects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tactile sensing solutions into robotic platforms.
- Conduct experiments to validate the performance of tactile sensing and robotic manipulation systems.
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of contact mechanics and robotic grasping.
- Experience with tactile sensors (e.g., GelSight, BioTac).
- Background in soft robotics or dexterous manipulation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
