This role is based in Lynn, MA, supporting the T408 product line within GE Aerospace. The team focuses on New Product Introduction (NPI), product redesigns, and manufacturing readiness to deliver high-quality hardware to our customers. You will partner closely with Engineering, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Supply Chain, and customer-facing organizations to drive integrated product and process improvements across the T408 program.

Role Overview
The T408 NPI Product Operations Leader will serve as the focal leader for implementing multiple redesign efforts within the T408 product line. You will be the key connection and interface between Engineering, APQP, Supply Chain, and customer-facing teams, ensuring product and manufacturing readiness, execution, and delivery. A central focus of this role is the implementation and execution of the Concurrent Product Development (CPD) process, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration between design engineering and supply chain. Initial scope includes leading redesign and readiness efforts for the T408 Diffuser/Deswirler, the Additive B-Sump casting, and Compressor Airfoils, with a strong emphasis on improving quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Lead T408 NPI redesign execution

  • Serve as the prime interface with Engineering and Supply Chain for T408 NPI redesign activity supporting the production program.
  • Drive initiatives that improve product line quality, delivery, and cost across key hardware redesigns (Diffuser/Deswirler, Additive B-Sump casting, Compressor Airfoils).

Own CPD process implementation and governance

  • Define and execute Concurrent Product Development (CPD) roles, responsibilities, and processes between design engineering and supply chain.
  • Ensure redesign efforts deliver on cost, schedule, producibility, and manufacturability objectives.

Program communication and stakeholder alignment

  • Act as focal for program communication and reviews with Supply Chain leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide clear status on risk, issue, and opportunity management, and drive timely mitigation actions.

Problem solving and decision-making

  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to enhance products, processes, and services.
  • Use a high level of judgment to assess information quality, ask critical questions, and develop solutions beyond set parameters.
  • Construct and present data-driven recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Continuous improvement and best practices

  • Support the development of integrated program plans and detailed action plans to ensure program success.
  • Champion change implementation and continuous improvement across NPI, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
    • OR high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in related Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)

Additional Information

The base pay range for this position is 156,400.00 - 208,150.00 USD Annual USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of base salary.
