Role Overview: As the T408 Development Projects Senior Program Manager, you will be accountable for the overall management of development efforts for the T408 engine, which powers the CH-53K aircraft. This position focuses on meeting both functional objectives (safety, reliability, performance, program execution) and business objectives (cost, margin, cash). You will provide leadership across the GE matrix to meet customer and business needs, manage complex issues, participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business and product strategy. This role is on-site and requires a commitment to creating and improving processes that support these goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish technical and support goals for the T408 development programs and define and implement action plans to achieve those goals.
- Provide technical leadership for assigned programs and customers, ensuring operational integrity.
- Establish goals and program direction to achieve safety, reliability, cost control, and customer support objectives.
- Contribute to critical internal business processes for assigned products (e.g., Program Control Board (PCB), Safety PMT).
- Serve as the prime interface to resolve all business and technical issues with customers (NAVAIR, DCMA, and airframers) for assigned programs.
- Develop and execute the long-term Engine Management Plan (EMP) along with NAVAIR.
- Represent the US Navy and other potential customers internally as an advocate on all business and technical issues.
- Report program status and problems internally, define action plans, and provide direction and leadership to accomplish goals.
- Participate in developing and negotiating proposals for assigned programs and ensure contract requirements are flowed down through the organization.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering or interfacing with Engineering on technical programs.
- Minimum of an additional 2 years of experience in a product management or customer support position.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and customer organizations.
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional organizations and leading teams to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with rotorcraft products.
- Previous experience working with military programs and/or USG contract requirements.
