Systems Engineering ManagerJob DescriptionWHAT YOU'LL DO:
Manage a team of System Engineers to meet customer expectations for Marathon/JCP performance.
Ensure Principles of Systems Engineering are executed on all CuSP / NPI Projects with rigorous compliance responses to all customer specifications.
Manage department costs and budgets per AOP commits.
Schedule department resources to meet NPI, CuSP, and customer schedules and resolve field escalations.
Ensure System Engineers follow QMS process for developing System Specifications and execute DVT Testing to ensure compliance.
Maintain department skills matrix competencies and develop / train personnel as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field. Advanced Degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering.
Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering principles including V-Diagram breakdown of system specifications into sub-system component specifications.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management / leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong engineering skill set amongst department of engineers.
Experience with project management methodologies.
Strong knowledge of ANSYS, Creo, ANSI Y14.5 GDT, and AGILE is preferred.
Strong knowledge of fundamentals of components as robotic mechanisms, including motors, bearings, sensors, actuators is preferred.
Strong knowledge of automation controls, robotics, semiconductor system integration is preferred.
Knowledge of SEMI standards is preferred.
Knowledge of materials and good design practices for the material of choice is preferred.
