As Systems Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Develop and maintain Critical Item Lists (CIL), Reliability Analyses, and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
  • Perform Process and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA/DFMEA).
  • Create and maintain Declared Parts List (DPL) and Declared Materials List (DML).
  • Conduct system analysis and provide engineering oversight with internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Lead comprehensive project requirements development, verification/validation, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and customers on technical matters across products.
  • Perform trade studies on product capability, performance, cost, and schedule.
  • Document progress through status reports and technical reviews.

Qualifications;

  • 6+ years of space engineering experience
  • Experience with Critical Design Reviews for space systems
  • BS or MS in Systems Engineering or related field.
  • Strong foundation in Systems Engineering principles and processes.
  • Experience with reliability analysis and failure management (FMECA, PFMEA/DFMEA).
  • Familiarity with requirements management and configuration management.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles.

Location: Onsite in Boston, MA

Salary Range: $125,000 - $180,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
