Position Summary:
The IT Infrastructure Department at Perforce is searching for a Systems Engineer, to join the team. The IT Infrastructure Services team at Perforce is searching for a Systems Engineer to join our team. We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for managing and maintaining shared services such as directory services (EntraID, Active Directory, OpenLDAP), DNS and DHCP globally. The Systems Engineer will also be tasked with elevating our automation tools including on and offboarding tasks, streamline Mobile Device Management platform software and policy delivery and managing hyperscaler resources in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. This position entails working with Perforce end users to define needs and goals, as well as working with other IT teams to make the ideas come to life. This position will be part of the Global IT Team at Perforce Software, working remotely or in one of our US-based office.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in the continuous development, monitoring, and troubleshooting of shared service applications such as DNS, DHCP and directory services (Active Directory, EntraID, OpenLDAP)
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Implements operational and security policies and procedures throughout service delivery lifecycle
- Implements a cost-effective operation of an on-premise/public/hybrid cloud IaaS, monitoring and configuration tools
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures
- Automates tasks for speed and consistency. Works with and extends configuration management tools
- Provide technical support to employees, addressing their IT-related queries and issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years in IT operations
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Must be comfortable dealing with stakeholders in crisis situations
- Understanding of common Agile project management concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work effectively as part of a project/program team and foster team cooperation
