The Technical Leader will, among other things, lead the execution of Systems Tech Review, coordinate with design specialist teams, interface with external customers and partners, and ensure designs and teams meet expected milestones and follow processes. The leader will also have responsibility to implement a next generation of system level requirements for the product phase of a new product segment for GE.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers for all product design aspects of the assigned system
  • Assure all component designs meet requirements
  • Support and coordinate with interfacing organizations such as manufacturing, sourcing, services, global engineering, ATO, and systems engineering
  • Support service programs, fulfillment, and New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Provide strong guidance and contribution to DMP and design to cost projects
  • Communicate progress to all levels of the organization
  • Mentor and develop less experienced personnel

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience

  • Strong mechanical design and analytical background
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes

The base pay range for this position is $160,000-175,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on Friday February 13th, 2026.
