Rocket Communications is seeking a remote System Administrator to join the team!
Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are looking for a System Administrator to serve as a key contributor to the IT team, providing comprehensive technical support, system maintenance, and strategic coordination for all IT needs.
We are a small company, and your work will have a direct impact on the success of our business and team members. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, supportive, and the work is rewarding. We work remotely from home and are adept at collaborating with online tools.
This remote position requires work during Mountain Time business hours. We plan to begin interviews in January 2026. Although this role is remote, we are only seeking candidates based in the United States who possess US Citizenship. This is due to our work with the U.S. Department of Defense and its contractors.
About You
- You have 2+ years of experience in system administration, network administration, or similar roles.
- You live in the United States and are able to remotely work Mountain Time business hours.
- You have impeccable customer service skills and are able to handle complex issues in a timely manner.
- You are knowledgeable of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- You have knowledge of various platforms and operating systems, especially Mac OS.
- You understand Mobile Device Management, data backup/recovery, and system security.
- Due to Rocket's work with local and federal government agencies US Citizenship is required.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, CrowdStrike, and AWS is preferred.
- Experience working remotely is preferred.
