The System Administrator is responsible for managing Microsoft 365 services, Windows Server environments, and ensuring the security and performance of IT systems.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator with hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our IT systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD.
- Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file/print services.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Implement and maintain security policies, backups, disaster recovery plans, and patch management.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to support infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external IT standards and regulations.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
