AutoStore – moving things forward. 

We are looking for a  Cloud Architect to help lead the design and evolution of our cloud-native platforms and applications on Microsoft Azure. This role goes beyond infrastructure — it's about shaping the architectural foundation for scalable, secure, and reliable digital products in a modern, distributed environment.

You will collaborate across engineering, platform,  IT and security teams to define cloud strategies, enable high-performing teams, and ensure architectural consistency across systems.

• Help drive the cloud architecture vision for the organization, with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Design and guide the implementation of distributed architectures aligned with modern principles such as microservices, modular-monoliths, event-driven systems, and container orchestration.

• Serve as a trusted advisor on Azure cloud services, shaping adoption of core platform capabilities and managing trade-offs between flexibility and standardization.

• Guide the architecture of our Kubernetes-based environments, ensuring robust foundations for workload deployment, automation, and lifecycle management.

• Partner with system architects, developers, and engineering leaders to define reference architectures, guardrails, and golden paths.

• Translate business requirements into high-level technical architecture, driving alignment across teams and disciplines.

• Evaluate and select strategic tooling for cloud provisioning, observability, and compliance.

• Contribute to the organization's cloud governance, including security posture, identity and access management, and operational excellence.

• Extensive experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure in enterprise or product environments.

• Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures and solutions, including containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes), service mesh, API gateways, databases, message brokers, and CI/CD automation.

• Proven experience leading architecture for distributed systems and mission-critical applications in the cloud.

• Strong command of cloud security best practices, network design, identity management, and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform).

• Solid understanding of modern software architectures 

• Demonstrated ability to influence architectural direction and collaborate across engineering, operations, and leadership.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
