We're looking for our next Channel Champion to join the team as Senior Vice President of Engineering!
About Channelscaler
Channelscaler is transforming how companies scale through their partners. Our AI-powered platform automates and simplifies partner engagement — from onboarding and incentives to performance tracking — helping vendors and partners grow faster together.
With one unified system, companies manage their entire partner lifecycle with ease and clarity. We're building a category-defining company rooted in expertise, empathy, and innovation — and we're just getting started.
About the Role
As the Senior Vice President of Engineering, reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead our next phase of growth as a builder who embraces AI-first development, rapid innovation, and customer obsession.
This is a transformational role. You'll partner closely with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to turn strategy into customer impact, while staying close to the architecture and code as a player-coach — not just an overseer. If you believe AI will fundamentally change how software is built, tested, deployed, and experienced, we want to talk to you.
You'll build and lead a world-class global engineering organization, own the technical roadmap, and represent engineering in customer meetings and executive briefings. This role is central to how Channelscaler scales its platform and establishes itself as the AI leader within the PRM and partner ecosystem market.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll focus on delivering results that move both the team and company forward by:
- Building and leading a world-class global engineering organization, developing managers and engineers who thrive in high-accountability environments.
- Establishing clear operating rhythms, performance expectations, and execution discipline, scaling engineering processes without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Embedding AI across the development lifecycle, from coding assistants and autonomous agents to automated testing and monitoring, and building a culture of fast experimentation.
- Increasing velocity and reducing cycle time from concept to customer value, driving predictable execution against roadmap commitments.
- Balancing technical debt, platform modernization, innovation, and customer requirements.
- Creating visibility into delivery progress and operational metrics for executive leadership and the board.
- Partnering closely with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing, and representing engineering in customer meetings and executive briefings.
- Owning the technical roadmap and the data-driven infrastructure investments that support long-term growth, ensuring the platform is secure, reliable, performant, and scalable through excellence in architecture, cloud operations, DevOps, and observability.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 12 months, you will:
- Accelerate product release velocity.
- Increase engineering productivity through AI-enabled development.
- Attract and retain top engineering talent.
- Deliver innovation that materially improves customer outcomes.
- Create a scalable operating model capable of supporting the next phase of company growth.
- Help establish Channelscaler as the AI leader within the PRM and partner ecosystem market.
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of engineering leadership in cloud-native and/or modern SaaS environments, including managing distributed teams across multiple time zones through periods of rapid growth.
- Strong technical depth in cloud-native architecture, modern development practices, and applied AI and machine learning, including SaaS capacity planning, infrastructure cost management, and margin optimization at scale.
- A track record attracting and retaining top talent, and working closely with executive leadership and the board.
Core Competencies:
- Player-coach mentality. You stay close to the architecture and code, not just the org chart.
- Execution discipline. You balance innovation with delivery and drive predictable execution against roadmap commitments.
- AI-native mindset. You see AI as core to how software gets built, tested, deployed, and experienced — not a bolt-on.
- Cross-functional fluency. You communicate in a way that aligns technical and non-technical stakeholders and represent engineering credibly with customers and executives.
- Low ego, high urgency. You're highly collaborative, comfortable challenging assumptions, and thrive when priorities shift fast.
Preferred (nice to have):
- Experience in the PRM, partner ecosystem, or broader GTM/RevOps technology space.
- Prior experience scaling engineering organizations through a company's next stage of growth (e.g., Series B/C to later stage, or pre- to post-IPO).
- Direct board-level reporting experience.
Location & Work Environment
Channelscaler is a remote-first company with team members across the U.S., Ireland, India, and the U.K. Some travel expected for executive offsites, board meetings, and customer engagements.
What We Offer
