Sustainability is a catalyst to deliver on the DuPont business purpose: To Empower the World with the Essential Innovations to Thrive. DuPont manages a dynamic portfolio focused on delivering important and valuable solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges, using the UN SDGs as guiding inspiration.  DuPont is seeking a professional with a strong interest in sustainability to join the business sustainability team. The manager will be responsible for leading efforts in enterprise reporting on sustainability performance and disclosures, including developing and maintaining sustainability reports, metrics, and dashboards to track progress and performance. As a member of the sustainability team, the individual will lead the annual Sustainability Report, contribute reporting content to our DuPont.com website, gather data and narrative for CDP and Ecovadis disclosures, and support other ESG disclosures. The individual will also support relationships with external ESG rating agencies, review rating agency feedback, and offer recommendations to strengthen the company’s position. 

Your Key Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the development and publication of the annual sustainability report, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with industry standards. This includes working across the organization to collect data and proof point stories, write report narratives, and support assurance and launch of the report. This includes work on GRI disclosures, SASB Index, TCFD Index badging, and reporting to the UN Global Compact.

  • Monitor and analyze trends in voluntary and mandatory sustainability reporting, ensuring the company remains compliant and at the forefront of industry developments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and verify data, ensuring the integrity and reliability of sustainability metrics.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's sustainability reporting processes and practices.

  • Develop materials used in promoting the annual sustainability report with internal and external stakeholders, including the reporting section of the external website.

  • Develop content for key non-financial disclosures, including submissions to CDP, Ecovadis, and other scorecards as needed.

  • Monitor external ESG and sustainability trends and evergreen benchmarks on best-in-class reporting practices and rating indices.

  • Support business processes for customer disclosures of ESG/Sustainability information.

  • Support external relationships with key ESG rating agencies, assess ratings and feedback, and offer recommendations to strengthen the business’s position.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and other events to promote our sustainability efforts and learn from others in the field.

  • Engage with external stakeholders, including peers in other companies, to share knowledge, collaborate on sustainability initiatives, and benchmark best practices in the rapidly changing dynamics of voluntary and mandatory reporting.

Your Qualification Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or a related field.

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Sustainability is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience working in a similar global role

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Highly organized with project management skills and proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.

  • Strong collaboration, team orientation, oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience with data management and reporting software.

  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental and social impact.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and emerging trends in sustainability reporting.

  • Knowledge and curiosity to learn topics related to sustainability/ESG and a basic understanding of various reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) and disclosures (e.g., CDP, Ecovadis).
