Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and meet in-house and customer demands
  • Lead the demand planning process, collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to create accurate forecasts
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels, and timely replenishment 
  • Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, implementing contingency plans as needed
  • Lead and mentor supply chain planners, providing guidance, training, and performance
  • Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in supply chain management
  • Oversee and manage the external manufacturing (EM) process
  • Develop and implement EM strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with product regulatory requirements
  • Manage the budget and costs associated with EM processes
  • Coordinate product or process projects as required
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience, or a combination of education and experience
    • At least 7 years of supply chain experience is required 
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing supply chain operations
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing staff
    • Proficiency in supply chain management tools
    • Knowledge of supply chain standards and best practices
    • Water industry experience/toll coating preferred, but not required

    Location, Travel and Compensation:

    Based in our Woburn, MA office, this role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and requires travel up to 50%. We offer a competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience, which includes equity and benefits.
