Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI) Reporting Analyst/Developer with deep domain knowledge in supply chain operations and extensive experience in report development. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy by gathering requirements directly from stakeholders and developing comprehensive reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate will require zero training in SCI and must be well-versed in synthesizing data from multiple warehouse analytics and data sources to build robust, scalable reports. This position focuses on establishing robust internal reporting capabilities and supporting the organization’s long-term self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities

·         Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate directly with supply chain business teams (including Don/Imran's organization) to identify, translate, and document business needs into technical reporting specifications.

·         SCI Report Development: Design, build, test, and deploy complex reports using Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI) tools from day one.

·         Multi-Source Data Integration: Create unified reporting solutions utilizing various data warehousing environments, analytics platforms, and disparate corporate data sources.

·         Knowledge Transfer: Act as a subject matter expert to help train, mentor, and transition reporting capabilities to internal teams, ensuring long-term operational autonomy.

Qualifications & Requirements

·         Domain Expertise: Strong, demonstrable background in Supply Chain Management processes and logistics data analytics.

·         Technical Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience in SCI report development is mandatory.

·         Reporting Tools: Proven track record of working with advanced data warehouse analytics and multiple reporting platforms.

·         Hybrid Skillset: Strong technical development skills combined with excellent communication skills for requirement gathering and business-facing interactions.

·         Autonomy: Ability to hit the ground running with completely independent execution and no baseline training required on the SCI platform.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
