We are searching for the best talent for Supply Chain & Engineering Summer Intern to be in MA, Raynham.

  • The Intern term is from June to August, 2026.
  • Full time requirement (40 hours per week).
Purpose:

DePuy Synthes Raynham is looking for 8 Interns for the Summer 2026 cycle. The Interns will be split among 5 different departments each with their own unique contributions to the site’s value streams:

  • 2 Summer Interns will be assigned to the MAM Department as part of the engineering support network that helps keep products flowing through the facility
  • 2 Summer Interns will support The End-to-End Project team with Engineering and Capital Equipment Projects such as equipment validations and New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • 2 Summer Interns will support our Epsilon Program to support the operational readiness of our new Plant in Costa Rica
  • 1 Summer Intern will work in our BEX (Business Excellence) department
  • 1 Summer Intern will work in our Label and Pack Development department

 

These are all In-Office positions and are not eligible for Remote or Hybrid work. A candidate’s preference for a particular group will be noted but will not guarantee placement.

You will be responsible
  • Assist in process, project, and / or quality activities across the manufacturing network
  • Become involved in the day-to-day functions of a medical device manufacturing facility
  • Develop a range of business documents including but not limited to validation protocols, engineering studies, and work instructions.
  • Support senior engineers on various Business Continuity and / or Cost Improvement projects
  • Create and analyze data related to manufacturing processes to recommend improvements or changes
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or related STEM fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
  • Understanding of common engineering analysis tools (such as statistical process control) and reporting mechanisms.
  • Within a commutable distance (50 miles or less) 5 days / week to the facility located in Raynham, MA.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently while contributing to team goals
  • Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired
  • Strong verbal and communication skills

Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
