Lead efforts within a Service Organization for the Supply Chain functions in either Smart Care Equipment, Smart Care Climate Solutions, or enterprise wide (regional focus) including planning, purchasing, warehousing, logistics, master data management, fleet management, and/or inventory control.  Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met across the end-to-end process landscape within each of the Supply Chain sub-functions supporting the service organization.  Serves as a leader on the Smart Care Supply Chain Leadership Team driving collaboration amongst each of the Operating Companies within the enterprise for which the individual is responsible for doing what is best for Smart Care and not just the directly aligned service organization.  This individual is responsible to lead, support and encourage collaboration across adjacent Smart Care service organizations to drive the design and deployment of consistent processes that optimize the needs of Smart Care, the unique needs within each Operating Company, and the ultimate needs of our end customer. Manages the organization by making metrics visible and prioritizing team activities.  Supports Smart Care need to identify, attract, retain, build, and grow talent.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and field service operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in procurement, inventory, logistics, and parts distribution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and support scalability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on budget planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Help to Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and manufacturers of commercial kitchen and food service equipment parts.
  • Establish vendor performance metrics and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality on-time delivery.
  • Oversee supplier compliance.

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping parts to field technicians.
  • Implement and monitor cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and van stock control programs.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet service needs while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Optimize parts distribution network for timely delivery to field technicians and customers.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including freight management and third-party delivery services.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and operational policies across all distribution activities.

Team Management & Development

  • Hire, train, and supervise inventory parts coordinators, and supply chain staff.
  • Develop team performance metrics and conduct regular reviews.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.

Technology & Systems

  • Oversee the use of IFS systems and inventory management platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity across supply chain functions.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with service operations, field technicians, and customer support to ensure supply chain alignment with service delivery.
  • Communicate proactively with leadership on supply chain risks and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Competencies & Education

B.S in applicable field, MBA preferred, or greater than 10 years of relevant experience
