Job Summary
Supervise up to 20 QC Inspectors in Incoming Inspection and/or Final QA operations. Assure the timely inspection of incoming product and the final acceptance of finished devices and accessories according to established procedures and support the monthly production schedules in a cost-effective manner.
Essential Functions

  • Overall supervision of Quality Control Inspectors.
  • Plan, organize and supervise the daily work schedule to support production goals.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of inspection procedures for components and sub-assemblies and acceptance procedures for finished devices.
  • Ensure that inspection activities are performed in accordance with established procedures and the Quality System Regulations.
  • Monitor and continuously improve Inspection efficiency.
  • Prepare timely reports on Inspection results including yield and defect identification.
  • Assist engineers with corrective and preventive action activities as required.
  • Assist engineers with supplier corrective and preventive action activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate personnel, training and inspection records.
  • Enforce established personnel policies in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Graduate. required
  • Minimum 3 years related experience in a regulated environment, preferably medical device, preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience with direct supervision of personnel, required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of QSR and ISO regulations.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electronic test equipment.

The annual salary for this position is:

$75,000.00 to $95,000.00
