Job Description Summary:
The Supervisor 2, Program Planner/Scheduler will manage schedules for a division within a business area. The incumbent will be an expert in EVMS and IMS best practices and may be the liaison between Draper and the customer on scheduling issues. They will manage junior planners.Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Planning professionals supporting divisions within Draper’s business units.
- Support development and maintenance of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project, based on requirements and scope provided by the customer
- Detail plan and maintain the IMS throughout the program’s lifecycle that incorporates contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines
- Ensure the IMS is compliant with government customer requirements throughout all program phases
- Ensure the IMS is resource-loaded for applicable scope with target budgets and demonstrates thorough cost and schedule integration
- Lead and conduct detailed performance capture and analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness and compliance.
- Support EAC and LRE processes as they relate to the Program IMS
- Lead the development and maintenance of the Program Master Phasing Schedule using Milestones Professional Software.
- Partner with the Program Office to ensure integration of program plans and schedules across company functional groups including finance, engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, and quality.
- Identification and implementation of project management processes, tools, program planning, and control practices for new pursuits and existing programs.
Skills/Abilities
- Proficient using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules. (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar scheduling software)
- Proficient with developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and/or workflow.
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with Agile planning and execution
- Experience leading planning effort on a program with external EV reporting and DFARS EV clause invoked.
- Experience with integration of subcontractors and operations into program plans, schedules and financial tracking.
- Proficiency with PMX tool suite or similar program management systems
Education
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Program Management and/or Program Planning & Scheduling with a Bachelor's Degree. Also possible to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with relevant Master's Degree.

$100,000.00 - $275,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
