Scope of Assignment

The Organizational Development (OD) intern will work on various projects in support of the team's four key work streams:

  • New Employee and Leader Onboarding

  • Organizational Culture and Engagement

  • Staff and Leadership Development

  • Talent and Performance Management

If possible, the intern will begin work on site during the summer and continue working remotely during the fall semester on a part time basis. There may be potential to extend to the spring semester.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in an accredited college or university obtaining a bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Training and Development, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field; Graduate students will also be considered.

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.

  • The role is a hybrid role (mix of onsite and remote work), but flexibility may be available to work remotely during the fall/spring.

Preferred

  • Graduate student (preferably second year Masters or PhD student) in Industrial – Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Training and Development, Human Resources or related field. Bachelors students equally considered.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong work ethic

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); additional experience Tableau, Power BI, and/or prior experience with survey tools (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, etc…) a plus

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects; basic project management skills desired
