Please note: applications for the Summer 2028 Internship are not yet open. This form is not an application, and you’ll need to apply when applications officially open this winter.

In the meantime, share your interest with our team ahead of the formal recruiting process by submitting your resume and a bit about yourself. You’ll be among the first to know when applications open, and we’ll share more about the program as recruiting gets closer.

Weiss Asset Management (WAM), a Boston-based investment firm, invites applications for our Summer 2028 Investment Analyst Internships. As a summer analyst at WAM, you will collaborate closely with our investment team, which invests globally in equities, derivatives, and fixed income through fundamental and quantitative strategies.

WAM offers two recruiting tracks, both of which lead to the same summer program:

  • The fundamental process evaluates research skills and fundamental analysis. Applications are expected to open in December 2026.
  • The quantitative process emphasizes skills like coding, statistics, and game theory. Applications are expected to open in February 2027.

As a multi-strategy firm without a traditional pod structure, interns gain exposure to both fundamental and quantitative approaches, regardless of the interview track they choose.

Why Intern at Weiss?

  • We hire interns with the expectation that they will contribute to our investment team in the long run, and we invest heavily in their development.
  • Interns and junior analysts play a key role in research, strategy development, and all stages of the investment process in both quantitative and fundamental strategies.
  • Each intern is paired with dedicated mentors from the investment team, who provide ongoing guidance and feedback.
  • We have the flexibility to tailor projects for each intern to allow him or her to demonstrate current skills and to develop new ones. Our investment team operates as one team rather than in siloes, which maximizes learning opportunities for interns and analysts.
  • We host a variety of events both inside and outside the office to help interns build personal connections with senior investment staff and the broader firm.

About the Company

Above all else, we value integrity, uncompromising rationality, creativity and entrepreneurship, and continuous learning and improvement.

Our team of over 130 individuals is the engine of our success and we welcome truly exceptional candidates from all majors and backgrounds.
