The Fidelity Intern Program (FIDTERN Program) 

Fidelity’s full-time, paid, 10-week FIDTERN Program offers students the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world work and projects as valued members of a dedicated team.  

 

Our program is designed to provide students with a firsthand experience of what it’s like to work here full-time. We deliver a best-in-class program experience to ensure interns feel a sense of belonging and community, while receiving critical training and development to be a future Fidelity associate. The Role 

 

A finance internship at Fidelity is for candidates interested in analytical and back end of finance. Interns can expect more of an individual environment doing projects and tasks on their own, working in Excel, manipulating data. We are looking for students with more than proficiency in Excel – candidates must be comfortable with formulas and pivot tables. Day-to-day work will include updating financial and statistical information, automating processes & reporting, analysis & working with data, understanding how money moves through Fidelity, and financial modeling. This is a back of the office role with no client facing interaction. Finance internships include exposure to teams who provide detailed financial information to the company’s businesses, enabling them to strategically prioritize, and drive business performance!

  • Availability for entire 10-week program from June 1st – August 7th, 2026, and required to align to our hybrid working model

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
