The Fidelity Intern Program (FIDTERN Program) 

Fidelity’s full-time, paid, 10-week FIDTERN Program offers students the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world work and projects as valued members of a dedicated team.  

 

Our program is designed to provide students with a firsthand experience of what it’s like to work here full-time. We deliver a best-in-class program experience to ensure interns feel a sense of belonging and community, while receiving critical training and development to be a future Fidelity associate. Learn directly from senior leaders, sharpen your professional communication, explore strategies for maintaining well-being in the workplace, and build financial confidence through expert-led financial literacy workshops. 

  • Mentorship: Opt-in to our intern mentorship program and connect with experienced professionals who will support your growth and help you navigate your career journey. 

  • Regional Events: Build connections with leaders and fellow interns through engaging onsite experiences and unwind with your peers at fun local outings (like go-karting, pickleball, or bowling). 

The Role 

Our Audit, Risk, and Compliance groups protect the interests of our customers, associates, and Fidelity's outstanding brand. Internship opportunities include roles such as Business Audit, Technology Audit, Enterprise Risk and Compliance, Technology Risk, Data Analytics and Global Security and Investigations. This role is for candidates interested in protecting the firm at all costs, helping to determine issues before they arrive on our doorstep, and being the ethical standard of the organization. This is a great role if you are interested in joining one of our internal audit teams, you can focus on the regulatory and operational side of managing financial risk, flagging accounts with suspicious withdrawal/funds and you can also work on investigating financial crimes!

  • Availability for entire 10-week program from June 1st – August 7th, 2026, and required to align to our hybrid working model

The base salary range for this position is $20 - $32 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Working onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture. We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
