About the Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY:

The Success Manager will oversee the student experience for specific programs within the EDGE team’s portfolio, and manage the delivery of Northeastern’s values and approach around experiential learning. This role will serve as learners’

main point of contact for their academic program or University-related support. The success manager will connect the learner to necessary resources both within the confines of a course and to the university at large. They will oversee and develop learner communications and engagements, work with the data team to monitor learner metrics, and provide outreach or support to any learners deemed as struggling. We are seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and attitude toward innovation who will support the needs of the learners, and identify and implement the changes or processes needed to streamline communication and collaboration among faculty and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Collect information and distribute reporting for learner success metrics; escalate specific learner concerns to program manager  

  • Advise and assist learners with academic and program concerns; serve as the connector for learners to various university resources  

  • Work with instructional support team to facilitate learner engagement

  • Organize and attend live sessions and assist with delivery as needed 

  • Develop and implement communication and engagement plan for learners

  • Assist in course registration and manage student orientation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 4 to 6 years of related student support and/or operations management experience

• Must have strong people skills with the ability to successfully communicate with current and prospective students, academic stakeholders, support staff and faculty.

• Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality. Ability to maintain productivity and meet targets.

• High level of initiative and drive with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.

• Ability to work independently, but also as a team member when the situation warrants.

• Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills • Ability to solve problems, analyze data, synthesize and summarize information, and communicate that information to varying audiences .

• Demonstrable strong business writing and project management skills.

• Ability to build strong and positive relationships across departments and show a commitment to collegiality, confidentiality, mutual respect, supportiveness and inclusivity. Acts in a fair, flexible, honest and ethical manner at all times. Fosters open communication, acceptance and appreciation of others’ opinions and thoughts.

• Ability to balance the need to make timely decisions and take action while also knowing when to seek input from appropriate parties.

• Consistently seeks out ways to improve current processes to promote organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Acts as a sound steward of the university’s resources.

For Charlotte, the pay range is $47,540.00 - $67,148.00

With the pay range shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
