Manage Partnerships operations by driving reporting, leading meetings, optimizing tools, and collaborating with Sales and Marketing to enhance partner experience.
The summary above was generated by AI

The simple task of buying software, services, or tools at work has become hopelessly complicated at even the most innovative companies in the world. Today, enterprises spend $120T+ per year globally (>30 times larger than annual consumer e-commerce spend) and rely on vendors more than ever before to run their businesses.

Our cofounders started Zip in 2020 to address this seemingly intractable problem with a purpose-built procurement platform that provides a simple, consumer-grade user experience. Within the last 4 years, Zip has created a new category and developed the leading solution in this $50B+ TAM space. Today, the world’s leading companies like OpenAI, Snowflake, Anthropic, Coinbase, and Prudential rely on Zip to manage billions of dollars in spend.

We have a world-class team coming from category-defining companies like Airbnb, Meta, Stripe, Salesforce, Apple, and Google. With a $2.2 billion valuation and $370 million in funding from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, BOND, DST Global, and CRV, we’re focused on developing cutting-edge technology, expanding into new global markets, and—above all–driving incredible value for our customers. Join us!

Your Role

As the dedicated Strategy & Operations business partner for Zip’s Partnerships team, you will play a central role in ensuring the success, scalability, and cross-functional visibility of our Partnerships motion. You’ll work closely with Partnerships leadership, Sales, Enablement, Marketing, and GTM Ops to help drive operational excellence.

This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong operational rigor, and is excited to be deeply embedded in a high-performing go-to-market team. You’ll drive reporting and analytics, lead critical meetings, manage new tools and systems, and identify opportunities to improve how we collaborate across Sales and other functions. This is an internal role with no meaningful travel required.

You Will
  • Own reporting and analysis on key Partnerships metrics and performance — helping the team stay focused on what matters

  • Set and run team meetings: drive agenda-setting, assign presenters, and ensure key follow-ups are tracked and acted on

  • Manage and optimize the systems and tools used to support partner operations, such as Partner CRM, partner training & enablement

  • Lead and support cross-functional projects with teams like Enablement, RevOps, and Marketing to improve the partner experience and increase impact

  • Partner with Sales leadership to build visibility into how partner-attached deals are performing and identify opportunities for greater cross-team alignment

  • Ensure strong governance over all partner payments / contracts in accordance with company policies and systems

  • Take initiative to improve processes, communication, and data flow between Partnerships and other GTM teams

Qualifications
  • 4-year undergraduate degree from a top school (preferably in a quantitative or business-oriented field)

  • 2–5 years of experience in business operations, sales operations, GTM strategy, consulting, or other highly cross-functional roles

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and drive complex projects across multiple stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills — you can interpret data and use it to inform recommendations and actions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you're confident presenting to leadership and facilitating meetings

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep projects on track

  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments and taking initiative without perfect instructions

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with or supporting partnerships, sales, or marketing teams

  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Crossbeam, Zift, or PRM/portal systems

  • Experience driving internal team meetings and cross-functional workstreams

  • Based in SF or willing to relocate; in-person role preferred

The compensation range for this role is $130,000 – $170,000 OTE. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
