To support client’s conference growth strategy by transforming SEO keyword research into high-quality, idea-first content that attracts qualified, high-intent audiences. The writer will create compelling, community-driven articles that integrate insights from speakers, attendees, and contributors through interviews and collaborative storytelling.
Profile OverviewClient is seeking a seasoned SEO content writer who can balance strategic search optimization with premium, thought-leadership storytelling. This role requires working from a Compose.ly-provided keyword research report and translating it into content that aligns with the client's brand: intellectually rich, community-led, and non-transactional.
The ideal candidate understands how to:
- Write for a luxury, high-intellect audience
- Maintain an idea-first narrative (not sales-driven)
- Collaborate with multiple contributors and co-authors
- Conduct and synthesize expert interviews into cohesive content
- Ongoing monthly engagement (starting after initial SEO research phase)
- 2 articles per month (20 hours total)
- Articles will incorporate interviews with speakers, attendees, or community members
- Writer will collaborate directly with client stakeholders to refine topics and direction
- Translate SEO keyword research and content strategy into compelling article topics
- Develop outlines and structure aligned with SEO goals and editorial voice
- Conduct interviews with community members (e.g., speakers, attendees, experts)
- Synthesize multiple contributor inputs into a single, cohesive narrative
- Ensure content reflects client’s community-first and idea-first positioning
- Integrate keywords naturally while maintaining a premium tone
- Collaborate on content workflows that may include co-authorship or contributed sections
- Maintain consistency across articles while adapting to different subject matter experts
- Ensure all content aligns with client’s brand standards and avoids overly promotional language
- Proven experience in SEO content writing and strategy execution
- Strong background in interview-based or thought leadership writing
- Ability to write for high-level, intellectually sophisticated audiences
- Experience working with content briefs, keyword reports, and search intent
- Exceptional storytelling and editorial judgment
- Ability to manage multiple contributors and perspectives in one piece
- Familiarity with luxury brands, media platforms, or mission-driven organizations
- Strong research and interviewing skills
- Ability to adapt tone to be inspirational, insightful, and non-salesy
