Role Type: Full-time

Engagement: Independent Contractor

Job Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Strategic Sales Development Lead to drive growth for a premier modern home decor and lighting brand. This is not a typical "volume-only" SDR role; you will be the engine behind our outbound strategy, targeting high-value opportunities and sophisticated homeowners seeking minimalist luxury. As a Lead, you will bridge the gap between individual contribution and strategic leadership—managing a robust pipeline while mentoring junior team members to elevate our overall sales process. If you thrive in a fast-paced e-commerce environment and have a proven track record of converting luxury prospects into qualified opportunities, this is your next career milestone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and engage high-potential accounts and decision-makers through a multi-channel approach (phone, email, and LinkedIn).
  • Maintain a "speed-to-lead" standard, contacting new inbound leads within 5–15 minutes to qualify them based on authority, timeline, and opportunity size.
  • Book 25–30 qualified meetings per month and ensure a minimum of 10–15+ sales-qualified opportunities are created.
  • Execute 50–80 targeted daily touches, utilizing deep research to personalize messaging for the modern home decor market.
  • Maintain 100% data integrity in the CRM, ensuring every lead has a scheduled next action and detailed notes.
  • Act as a Senior/Lead resource by coaching junior SDRs, sharing successful scripts, and optimizing outbound sequences.
  •  Review personal and team funnel metrics daily to identify conversion gaps and optimize the lead-to-meeting ratio.

Requirements
  • Proven experience specifically within the home goods, furniture, or lighting industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to move beyond activity quotas to focus on pipeline value and qualified opportunity creation.
  • Ability to work a strict 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST schedule from an offshore location.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage high-end clientele.
  • Prior experience in a Senior or Lead SDR capacity, demonstrating the ability to mentor others and refine sales processes.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Expertise in HubSpot CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Direct experience in E-commerce sales cycles.
  • Advanced skills in Lead Sourcing, Discovery Calls, and Sales Forecasting.
  • Background in closing or account management within the interior design or architecture space.
