Your role at Dynatrace

As the Strategic Marketing Operations Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing the lifecycle marketing strategy for Dynatrace. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role focused on what happens after a customer comes through the door and you will drive customer engagement, retention, and growth through every stage of their journey. You’ll collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholder teams to design and scale data-driven programs that enhance user experiences, improve activation, and maximize customer lifetime value. This role will operate within a unified go-to-market framework where demand generation leads pre-pipeline and pipeline creation, and you lead everything that comes after. Your success will be measured by the depth and durability of customer use of our solutions, not just the breadth of reach.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive post-onboarding growth: Own the customer journey from handoff through activation, adoption, retention, and expansion. You will design programs that deepen engagement and maximize customer lifetime value at every stage.
  • Optimize customer adoption: Partner with Product and Marketing teams to refine customer touchpoints, ensuring seamless transitions and personalized experiences that drive activation, adoption, and retention.
  • Surface expansion opportunities: Translate product usage and adoption signals into actionable insights that unlock expansion opportunities. You will work in close partnership with Sales and Growth Marketing to convert those signals into growth.
  • Lead coordinated experimentation: Develop and manage a robust experimentation roadmap, testing and optimizing areas like lifecycle-specific messaging, segmentation, and engagement strategies. This will be done in close coordination with cross-functional partners to ensure aligned, non-conflicting test strategies across shared audiences.
  • Own lifecycle metrics: Take accountability for lifecycle KPIs, including activation rates, retention, churn reduction, and expansion opportunities.
  • Communicate impact: Build dashboards and deliver compelling insights to executives, showcasing lifecycle performance, learnings, and opportunities for growth.
What will help you succeed

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven Expertise: 7+ years in growth, lifecycle, or demand marketing, with a strong preference for experience in product-led growth (PLG).
  • Collaborative Mindset: Skilled at working across marketing, product, and sales to align teams and deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Track Record of Results: Demonstrated success in driving measurable growth across acquisition, activation, adoption, and monetization.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Deep experience in experimentation, funnel optimization, and leveraging data to inform strategies and decisions.
  • Leadership Excellence: Strong leadership and influencing skills, with a proven ability to manage and mentor high-performing teams in cross-functional environments.
Why you will love being a Dynatracer
  • A one-product software company creating real value for the largest enterprises and millions of end customers globally, striving for a world where software works perfectly.
  • Working with the latest technologies and at the forefront of innovation in tech on scale; but also, in other areas like marketing, design, or research.
  • A team that thinks outside the box, welcomes unconventional ideas, and pushes boundaries.
  • An environment that fosters innovation, enables creative collaboration, and allows you to grow.
  • A globally unique and tailor-made career development program recognizing your potential, promoting your strengths, and supporting you in achieving your career goals.
  • A truly international mindset with Dynatracers from different countries & cultures all over the world, and English as the corporate language that connects us all
  • A culture that is being shaped by the diverse personalities, expertise, and backgrounds of our global team.
