What you'll do:

  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting
  • Own and evolve the company’s long-range sales financial models.
  • Forecast ARR, revenue, CAC, LTV, NRR, and other key SaaS metrics.
  • Lead scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis around growth initiatives and GTM strategies.
  • Work closely with the data engineering and analytics teams to structure and extract insights from large-scale data sets in the company’s data warehouse.
  • Performance & Variance Analysis
  • Analyze and report on financial and operational performance vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Deliver actionable insights on growth drivers, margin trends, and unit economics.
  • Identify key risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Executive & Board Reporting
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly business reviews, investor materials, and board presentations.
  • Build and maintain  dashboards and KPIs tracking revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and cost efficiency.
  • Support fundraising, M&A evaluations, and other corporate development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Demand Generation and Data Warehouse teams to align business priorities with financial goals.
  • Improve FP&A tools, reporting, and processes to drive scale and efficiency.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in finance and FP&A, with a focus on SaaS or recurring revenue models.
  • 2–4 years experience in investment banking, management consulting, or transaction Services a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and financial drivers (ARR, NRR, CAC, CLTV, gross margin, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills — able to distill complex financial concepts for executive and non-financial audiences.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills; expert in Excel/Google Sheets and proficient with BI/data tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL a plus).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Planful).

What's nice to Have:

  • Experience working in VC/PE-backed SaaS startups or scale-ups.
  • Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
