The Impact:
Strategic Leadership & Alignment
- Align Initiatives to Enterprise Strategy: Partner with the Head of Strategy & Planning and IS leadership to ensure the portfolio of initiatives and business priorities directly support overarching strategic objectives.
- Assess Organizational Health: Evaluate processes, technology, and operating models to identify improvement opportunities that drive efficiency and scalability.
- Serve as a Thought Partner: Collaborate with business leaders on strategic thinking and process optimization to enable sustainable growth and transformation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
- Translate Strategy into Action: Collaborate with IS leadership and cross-functional teams to convert strategic vision into funded roadmaps, budgets, and measurable financial outcomes. Deliver synthesized insights for leadership.
- Guide Transformation: Establish guiding principles to position the organization and workforce for future transformation, fostering engagement, development, and clear communication across teams and markets.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
- Proactively Manage Risks & Opportunities: Anticipate market and business dynamics, translating insights into actionable recommendations that enhance value and operational performance.
- Drive Process Optimization: Recommend and oversee execution of process enhancements, operational efficiencies, and operating model improvements.
Planning & Execution/Reporting
- Execution driven mindset: Assist in planning and see through execution of multiple work efforts and initiatives.
- Automate Reporting/financial process: Champion automation and process improvements to reduce manual touchpoints, ensuring precision and efficiency for stakeholders.
- Expense Management: Streamline processes for managing both business and technology expenses. Monitor and analyze financial data to assess run rates and overall financial health; including but not limited to understanding accruals and indirect/direct allocations.
- Post Project Support transition: Ensure seamless ongoing support and adoption to the business post initiative hand-off.
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years' experience in leadership influencing business planning, execution and operational effectiveness
- 5+ years' experience driving and executing projects and work efforts on behalf of the business.
The Ideal Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, with a Master's degree or equivalent preferred
- Proven track record of strategic thinking, problem solving, process improvement and successful execution.
- Effective knowledge and experience with governance best practices
- Demonstrated use of insight to identify and implement improvements that increase business value and efficiency
- Leadership experience and detail orientation with complex cross-functional projects involving multiple business areas
- Strong financial planning and expense management. Proven ability to build and maintain multi-year program and business forecasts, monthly outlook and analysis.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with stakeholders across executive, peer and direct report settings
- Ability to convey and influence complex issues, methodologies and solutions through both written and verbal communication
- Experience working in a transformational setting through driving change to achieve improved outcomes while managing competing priorities
- Motivated to pursue positive change and work with others
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize across multiple work efforts.
